ORIENTAL CARD TANGRAMS

Some of the ladies from the online Oriental Stamp Art group sent me these beautiful cards they made. They craft Oriental cards using origami, embossing, piercing, stamping and many other techniques. Papers and fabrics along with a wide variety of craft materials are incorporated into these small works of art.

Linda B. recently hosted a tangram card mingle for the group and created the three beautiful fox themed cards as her contribution. Thanks for sharing them with us, Linda.

Sandra G. was kind enough to share her tangram mingle contribution along with a set of 6 cards she sent to friends. The colors, textures and the idea of "all the same but all different" make them a delight. Thank you, Sandra.

Lyn W. contributed a sailboat themed card that sends my mind sailing through a bubbling world of sea colors. Thanks, Lyn, for letting us see it.

Barb I. crafted an Oriental feeling set with her teapot, origami crane and dragon trio. Quite appropriate and very lovely, Barb. Thanks.

Veronique L. captured the sea, sand and sky of her present home, Australia along with a pair of it's creatures. Two great white sharks and, with a nod to her French side, a lobster (Mmm…). The kanji means ocean or "great body of water". You got both my eyes and my taste buds going with those three cards, Veronique. My thanks to you.

Any other carders or crafters of any type out there that would like to donate a photo or two of a project that includes tangrams? I'd be happy to share them with my visitors who in turn would enjoy seeing your work. I'm at randy@tangrams.ca

Hi Helge. Thank you for taking the time to comment. I very much agree with you about the fox and would like to extend that to the rest of the cards. I’m so pleased to be able to share all their art work with my visitors. It’s been a visual treat every time I opened an email from the anyone in the group.
